• Tickets - Price is same as regular lift ticket of the day. Season pass holders and special lift coupons pay $20 but that can go towards the raffle. (The gear raffles are one for $5 and three for $10) Folks with valid passes, coupons or any other kind of lift ticket can pay $20 which can go towards the gear raffle tickets.

• Demos- Most of the telemark companies will be represented and you will have a chance to demo the newest gear for free! These are not rentals. Therefore all gear can only be taken out for two hours at a time.

Sponsors - At the heart of every great organization there must be a dedicated group of people. Along with our instructors and volunteers are our sponsors. Where would we be without them? They help us out financially but more than that, many of them are right there at the festivals with us, giving the public a chance to try out all the newest and best telemark gear. To them we have dedicated a 'sponsor page' with descriptions of their products and links to their web pages. All our thanks to Garmont, Backcountry Mag, Telemarkskier Mag, Atomic, Black Diamond, Garmont, Karhu, Telemarkski.com, Backcountry.com, Outdoor Gear Exchange, Flylow, Totem Telemark, K2, Trab, Mahoosuc Mountain Sports, Rossignol, First Trax, TwentyTwo Design, Ragged Mountain, Teleboard, Telemarkdown.com, Peak Organic Brewing Company and Voile for their support.

• Lessons - We are the only PSIA (Professional Ski Instructors of America) certified telemark ski school. Most of our instructors are members of PSIA and all are highly trained and motivated. We want our clinics to be fun most of all but to hopefully give you a chance to improve your skiing in an enjoyable, free spirited atmosphere. All clinics are 1 1/2 hours long and are free! Clinics times are 10:00 and 1:30.

We will have clinics for all abilities, from never-evers to expert. Some of our special clinics will include*;

Crossover clinics for alpine skiers coming to Telemark.

Master Clinics. Taught by our Educational Staff members, these are clinics for the expert.

Detect and Correct. A quick firing clinic meant to help you with immediate noticeable problems.

Women's Clinics. Women teaching women. Some of NET's top women instructors will be leading clinics both days.

Condition Clinics. Clinics dealing with the various snow conditions one finds. Depending on what Sunday River is experiencing the day of the fest we could be talking anything from deep powder to bulletproof ice.

Mogul Clinics. Our best bumpers show you how it's done.

Adventure Clinic. Kurt Whited will find some true adventures in the trees and glades.

Kids Clinic. We have kid's gear in the demo fleet so here is your chance!

Private Lessons. If you really don't want the free group lesson we will have private lessons available at $45 an hour, half day privates for $125 and all day privates for $220.

*Clinics are subject to change depending upon conditions and instructor availability.

• Events-

Costume Contest. All Day.

In the spirit of the ridiculous we love to see our festival goers dressed up. To encourage this we are having a contest and the person with the best costume will win one of our top prizes. Contestants are expected to ski in their costumes so think durability, warmth etc.! If we have at least five contestants the first prize will be a pair of skis!

Eastern Telemark Mogul Championship. (12:30). Top prize will be skis! (There must be at least five contestants in each category to be eligable for skis). It will take place right in front of the Whitecap lodge on Tempest.

• Prizes/Raffles- Prizes include skis, boots, poles, gloves, helmets, bindings and more. Our big raffle will be for skis, bindings and more.

Telemarkeast.com, a new community telemark forum for the east, will have a raffle for a brand new Ortovox avalanche beacon plus more!!! A winner's name will be announced on the forum every minute on Monday starting at 8PM until someone responds by posting. More details can be found on the forum.

• Party- 4-5 The awards ceremony and party will be upstairs at Thumpers. Because of a conflict with the beer suppliers at Sunday River our beer sponsor, Peak Organic, will not be able to supply beer at the fest. Thus... alas, no free beer.

• Rentals- Demo gear of course is free to use at the festival but if you really need some gear for the entire day we recommend renting from Ragged Mountain or EMS in North Conway. If you can't find rentals..don't worry, just get there early and we will make sure you have gear for at least part of the day.

• Lodging- Special lodging is available. Check our 'Local Businesses' page.
